Keith Trousdale - Founder, Trousdale and Sons
My journey in construction began in 1992 when I started as a laborer, filling mud racks with plaster. From there, I entered an apprenticeship in drywall installation, mastering the trade. Knowing that you can’t hang drywall without proper framing, I expanded my skills into framing, always eager to stay busy and learn more.
After mastering metal lath and working with plaster for a couple of years, I realized my passion was elsewhere. I transitioned to working for one of the largest companies in the area, honing my skills until 2000 when I founded Trousdale and Sons. Since then, we’ve specialized in drywall, framing, stucco, painting, and more.
For the last 24 years, we’ve proudly completed over 200 projects in the Volusia County area. At Trousdale and Sons, we believe in doing things right the first time—nothing is good enough until it’s perfect. We’ve built a reputation for quality, professionalism, and reliability, and we continue to uphold those standards in everything we do.
